how can i lose weight very quickly at 13yrs old?
its my birthday tomorrow to turn 13 (i dont want to lose weight for tomorrow too quick obviously) i weight around 12stone to much i know, how can i loose a couple of stone rapidly what are laxitives do they help? or anything else like using an exercise bike or cross trainer for how long a day etc cheers
When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.

your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Well im 13 as well, and when i was 12, i weighed 48kg, and now i have done more exercises and eaten more healthy and i now weigh 39kg

burn more calories than you eat so get active! play sports, run bike!

At your age you really don’t want to be loosing a lot of weight fast!
In fact it’s recommended you don’t until after puberty.
You’re in the middle of puberty and putting your body though fast changes is not a good idea.
Just eat a healthy balanced diet and exercise for 1-2 hours a day

You can’t lose weight very quickly, it has to be gradual, or if its done very quickly, you might encounter serious health problems.
You have to exercise more.

No one should even try to lose weight quickly and using laxatives is both dangerous and daft!
You will need to consider both a modest calorie reduction and even more importantly a significant increase in regular exercise.

Laxatives soften the material in your bowel and rush it through the system. Taking them regularly will make your own intestine muscles lazy. It is a very bad idea to use laxatives for slimming. Do not be tempted to lose weight quickly, because you will alter the rate at which your body uses up its energy. This means that when you stop dieting your body still behaves as if it was starving, so it uses more of the energy from your food and you will put weight on again very quickly. You may know some adults who are always on diets – this is the reason. Try to go much more slowly, especially as you are only 13 and still growing. All you really need to do is to look carefully at what you have been eating up to now. Foods that help to make you overweight are anything with sugar, white bread, cakes, pastry etc, anything fried, anything with a lot of animal fat including pork bacon, sausage, butter. Eat as much as you like of lean meat, fish, vegetables, fruit. Fill up on these and do not feel you have to be hungry to lose weight. You can still have potatoes as long as they are not fried or covered with butter or margarine. Aim to lose your 2 stone in six months rather than six weeks, keep up the good eating habits and you will stay slim.

1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also.
2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.
3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.
4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.
