how do you lose weight when you work out if muscle weighs more than fat?

If someone is trying to lose weight and workout, how do they do that if muscle weighs more than fat and when they exercise all of that fat just turns into muscle?

to lose weight with exercising you should have a certain eating
routine. You should not eat 2 hours before your workout, and 2 hours
after. You should not eat protein 5 hours before and 5 hours after
your workout. When you consume protein and then exercise, you grow
your muscle, bulk. It leads to weight gain.
When you eat in 2 hours before and 2 hours after time frame, you
should consume fruit, vegetables, good carbs. You will certainly lose
weight then.

How much you weigh is really not that important. Having too much fat is the problem. You should be measuring your body fat percentage not your weight.

Actually you need to realize that fat never "turns into" muscle…two different type of material…you can burn fat by working out and build muscle by working out…this will all depend on the exercise and intensity and duration…

I’ve gained 12 pounds in the last two months from working out. Apparently on one fine day the muscle will burn off the fat. I’m still waiting.

No fat never actually turns into muscle. First you get rid of the fat by burning it off – in its place the muscles that are already there will bulk up from the exercise. Because most of us have lots more fat than than needed the muscle still weighs less than it would have if you did not work out.

fat doesnt turn into muscle. fat cells never actually go away. they shrink when you work out and get bigger when you dont. muscle only builds when you do weights. and its not a bad thing weighing more becuase of muscle because having muscle makes you look way leaner.

When my daughter joined the Air Force, she went to boot camp and gained 11 pounds and lost 2 dress sizes in six weeks. It’s not about how much you weigh, but your body fat index that matters.

Muscle does not turn into fat…..I wish people would quit thinking this. They are 2 totally different kinds of tissue and one can not magically turn into the other. Second, muscle does not weigh more than fat…muscle is just denser. Think of it like this, if you had a piece of gold and a piece of aluminum that was the same exact size, they gold piece of course would weight more because it is denser. It is the same way with fat and muscle. 1lb of muscle is 1/4 the size of a pound of fat.

Ephedra will burn the fat and spare the muscle.
What overweight women and men have learned is that for years virtually every professional bodybuilder, informed fitness expert and successful personal trainer would tell you the same thing. Whether you want to accelerate the burning of excess body fat, boost your metabolic rate, heighten your thermogenic output or increase your energy level, there is nothing stronger or more effective than the "thermogenic cocktail" of Ephedra, Caffeine, and Aspirin (The E/C/A- Stack").

Well, it is a strange question as you can tell the difference between a built person and a fat person, but to answer your question, the more muscle you build the more fat you can lose. Your metabolism is affected by the amount of muscle you have. So for every pound of muscle you gain, you burn off an extra 50 calories a day. So as you continue to gain muscle it will become easier to lose fat.
