Confessions During Lucid Dreams.

Did you know that there exist some kinds of dreams which you can actually control while being aware that you are dreaming? These dreams are known as lucid dreams. In such dreams you are dreaming but you can direct your dreams like a movie. You can decide the actors, the setting and even the story! You can even decide the dialogues!

All kinds of emotions can be part of lucid dreams. Since you are in control of the dream, much like a director in a movie, there are no limits to what you make the lucid dreaming consist of and what the ending comes out to be.

While normal dreams are uncontrollable and completely dependent on the realms of the subconscious, lucid dreams are completely controllable. There are times when lucid dreaming becomes so vivid and so genuine that you may need to even make sure that you are dreaming!

One way to make sure that you are dreaming is to attempt reading a book or paper. If you are dreaming your words are sure to change and make reading impossible. If you can’t read then it’s a lucid dream.

If you sometimes daydream about someone in your life that you miss and you want to be with, it might appear to you or be the subject of a lucid dream. Things that seem impossible are possible in your lucid dreams.

In lucid dreams you can decide the kind of events that can happen. Let’s say you are dreaming that you are with a person you desire to be with. In your dream that person can smile at you and even touch you. In fact in your dream, that person can do anything you want him to do!

Lucid dreams are physically possible due to the biological need for your body to sleep but your mind remains in some conscious level at all times, enough so to experience a lucid dream while your body appears to be asleep from outward appearances.

Lucid dreaming needs some techniques which can be learnt by some practice and patience.

Recalling your dreams as soon as you wake up is a sign of lucid dreaming because you are more aware of the details. Remember what happened as much as you can and write it down as soon as you get up. If you keep it handy, it is easier to remember to write it down and lucid dreams can fade quickly after you wake up. When you have the dream again, write down what you remember, since lucid dreams can often repeat themselves. You may eventually recall the most important details of the whole dream, especially if it is recurring.

Certain people, especially dream interpreters, for example, may find this information helpful in studying patterns of subject matter or emotions in lucid dreams that are remembered. The dream ends the way you want it to since you control the scene and actions so many use lucid dreams to fulfill ambitions they may not have realized in real life by lucid dreaming.

You need to make it habit to recall each and every detail about your dream. Once you do that, try sleeping again and if possible try to start the dream where you left and continue your dream from there. The dreams will repeat themselves so you can delve into more details every time that happens.

Waking up before your normal waking time may cause you to hit the snooze alarm and doze off a bit and this is the prime time for lucid dreaming. You may even think you have been awake the whole time, but you have been experiencing a lucid dream that seems very lifelike.

With practice it will become easier each passing day. Self hypnosis is also a great way to enhance your lucid dreaming experience.

Several other options, like binaural beats, for example have been used to help induce a semi-conscious state that resembles or can put the brain into lucid dream mode almost instantly by using sound waves to coordinate and stimulate the proper portions of the brain for lucid dreaming.
