I would say that … I would say that you should not do more that 30 minutes of straight cardio a day ever. I would say look into weight training which will increase your metabolism and help you burn fat faster. Cardio for a long time (1hour) causes your adrenals to produce cortisol which breaks down muscle which will lower your metabolism because muscle is metabolic tissue and burns fat. So if you use cardio to lose weight you will gain it back when you stop because you lose muscle.
