What are the best ways to lose weight quickly?

Okay. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME WHEN I TELL YOU THIS. It completely changed the way i think about food and weight.

First of all, WEIGHT and HEALTH are quite different.

CALORIES control your weight. Its very simple. Like maths actually…2nd grade maths! You need to have burned ALL your calories by the end of the day to stay the same weight. That sounds scary doesn’t it! Burning like 2000 calories a day. That is NOT going to happen. But it does! Your body is using calories ALL the time, about 12000 a day just on its own without you even getting out of bed.

Now
1 POUND = extra 3500 cals.
Say a person needs 2000 a day to maintain their weight, eating 2500 everyday will make them gain 1 pound a week.
So, if they ate 1500 calories a day, they would lose 1 pound a week.
And no matter WHERE they come from, FAT, CARB or PROTEIN, if they eat that many calories every single day, THEY WILL LOOSE WEIGHT. Its biologically impossible not to lol

BUT (lol, always a but)

This does NOT MEAN that you should get all your calories from one place. If you ate 1500 calories of Mcdonalds everyday for a month, sure you would lose weight, but boy would you be FLABBY, UNHEALTHY and probably TIRED AND GRUMPY. You would also increase the risk of having a heart attack because of the saturated fat! So you would look amazing in those sexy skinny jeans, but you wouldn’t feel like going out anywhere lol
Therefore, you need to get a good balance of all the different types of calories everyday! This makes sure that your not only loosing weight, but staying healthy too.

But because, unlike calories, the effect of e.g. saturated fat is due to a BUILD-UP over TIME, it means that having the odd very unhealthy day, where you eat pizza, ice cream, chocolate etc is ABSOLUTELY fine, as LONG as you eat the right number of calories (which, depending on the number, can be tricky but not impossible!)

HOWEVER (lol)

As you can see by the calculator, if you are unhappy with the amount of calories that you need a day, then exercise and burn some extra so you can eat some extra! It really is that simple. Exercise will also tone you up with muscle and REMEMBER; MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAT FAT, so whilst you might gain a few pounds on the scale, really, your just getting fitter and less flabby. A few pounds here and there are nothing to worry about anyway.

    I used everything to lose weight, and nothing worked until I used acai berry.     Well after a week of eating bad I decided to eat less again (I was binging.. ah!!!) and I went for a run was 2 pounds lighter. Haven’t weighed myself since then which was last week but eat smaller portions and exercise. I run more than 2 miles 5 or 6 days a week but because of my eating I only shed about a pound a week. Eating better is VERY important. Also, stop drinking soda and only drink water. It’s been my favorite drink besides beer ;) for almost a year now.

    First off, the healthy weight loss is 2 pounds per week. The biggest loser show take off excessive and unhealthy amounts of weight, 8 pounds per week which is bad for your body to get used to. The best way is to do cardio, every day. Never miss a day even if you just go for a walk. Sweat it out with different kind of activities. Walking, jogging, jumping jacks, running, biking, skating, basketball, badminton, etc… Drinks lots of water or gatorade. Don’t drink any caffeine for it’ll slow it down, tea is best. Eat protein, fruits(banana or apple) and veggies. Starving yourself is always a bad thing to do, it actually slows down the process. Always eat breakfast, if you don’t you tend to eat more at lunch because you’re digestive system hasn’t been used.

    What many don’t realize though is that eating a large meal at breakfast time and then eating smaller meals for lunch and dinner will help increase efficiency and save time in the long run.

    To put it simply: a person doesn’t need energy when they go to sleep, so it seems silly to overeat at dinner.     1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also.

    2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.

    3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.

    4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.
